"Carrie was my one-on-one doula the day we welcomed our son into the world and without her, we most certainly would have had a c-section instead of the vaginal birth I wanted. Carrie's personality is magical, she is straight-forward and professional but has a demeanor that makes you feel like you've known her for years. Her authenticity was so refreshing as we approached the final hours of labor. She was light-hearted when appropriate and even had me laughing through pain. She was knowledgeable when I asked questions, attentive to all my needs, and provided a level of patient care and comfort that I have never experienced in a medical setting. Her bed-side manner was excellent and her ability to explain things to me did not feel overwhelming, which was often the case when others were discussing my options as I was very overtired and in a lot of pain. To say Carrie was crucial in my delivery is truly an understatement. I have reached out to Carrie and asked her to be at any subsequent births for our family because she was that critical in my birth experience. She is a unicorn of a human being and it is difficult to find someone with her humor, authenticity, professionalism, and knowledge all in a single person."
